Interestingly, Connor Hellebuyck still wants to be traded out of Winnipeg. On Thursday, the superstar goalie decided to reaffirm this.

At first, people thought the Utah Mammoth might've tried to pull off a trade. However, now that doesn't seem likely at all. It will be interesting to see where Hellebuyck ends up.

"My position has not changed"

"My position has not changed, and I believe moving on is the best path forward for me and my family," Hellebuyck said. "(I) hope a resolution can be reached soon."

The Winnipeg Jets missed the postseason after winning the Central Division the season prior. They still have a solid core, but they may lose a huge part of it with Hellebuyck. With only one month to go, it will be hard for the Jets to find a trade partner.

Sure, someone will, but the Jets probably want a get-back in return for him. If he remains untraded when the season begins, then that will certainly be interesting. Both sides will likely try to avoid that situation, but it isn't impossible.

The big question will be if Hellebuyck refuses to play. But as was mentioned before, both sides will try to find a partner as soon as possible. Whether that be the Buffalo Sabres or someone else will be a big question.
