The situation involving the Red Wings and Dylan Larkin in Detroit remains unresolved. Larkin remains in the Motor City despite not wanting to be there.
Interestingly, Larkin has finally expanded his trade lists from three teams to 10. Interestingly, one of those teams are the Utah Mammoth.
The Mammoth are on the trade lists for Larkin
The list includes the original three teams: the Vegas Golden Knights, Florida Panthers, and Minnesota Wild
But now, it also includes these additional seven teams: Dallas Stars, Washington Capitals, Carolina Hurricanes, Tampa Bay Lightning, New Jersey Devils, Colorado Avalanche, and the Mammoth.
One thing is clear: not much is clear about how the Red Wings will handle the situation. Larkin evidently wants to join a team with a chance to win the Stanley Cup. But just because he no longer wants to be there, that doesn't mean the Red Wings care too much.

Detroit may still want a great return for him. During the offseason, the Red Wings were rumored to want superstar winger Matt Boldy in return for Larkin. That's an extraordinary price that all of these teams would be hesitant to pay.
The Mammoth of all of these teams definitely have plenty of youth and assets, but it will be intriguing to see if the Mammoth care to use those assets to acquire Larkin.
Utah isn't particularly in need of another center with Logan Cooley, Nick Schmaltz, Barrett Hayton, and technically even Vincent Trocheck. But Utah may still want to add another big gun to the offense.
