Tonight, the Utah Mammoth open the regular season in the newly renovated Delta Center. Utah hosts the already 0-1-0 Chicago Blackhawks, coming off a 5-2 loss to the Vegas Golden Knights.
Here's everything Mammoth fans need to know:
Who: Chicago Blackhawks (0-1-0) at Utah Mammoth (0-0-0)
Where: ESPN+, Hulu, and Disney Plus.
When: Oct. 1st, 7:30 PM MT
Injuries:
Blackhawks:
Winger Andrew Mangiapane was injured after game one and is out. However, the bigger injury is to Connor Bedard, which happened over the offseason. Bedard is likely out until November and won't play tonight.
Mammoth:
Utah has only one injured player: Maveric Lamoureux. Unfortunately, the defenseman is likely out for 4-6 months after having surgery just a few days ago.
Overall, Utah is happy to begin the regular season. The Mammoth have a chance to win their first game over a division rival at home before a long road trip ahead of five games. For Chicago, it wouldn't exactly like falling to 0-2 to begin the season.
Can Utah start strong? We'll see tonight.
