The Utah Mammoth took a disappointing 3-1 loss against the Minnesota Wild on Tuesday night. They hope to look like a completely different team tonight against the Pittsburgh Penguins.

Can Utah win its second straight game of the season against Pittsburgh?

Who: Utah Mammoth (8-5-0) vs. Pittsburgh Penguins (5-6-1)
Where: ESPN+, Hulu, and Disney+.
When: Oct. 29, 5:00 p.m. MT

What does Utah have to do to win

The Mammoth can't play a sloppy game like they did against the Wild. Against the Wild, the Mammoth committed seven penalties and allowed two power play goals.

The penalty kill hasn't been very good, so putting a lot of pressure on the PK again is asking for trouble. The Penguins have struggled at times this season with their defense, so getting the offense going in Utah is critical.

The Mammoth can't do what they did against Minnesota offensively. They must create more offensive chances to look better.

The Prediction:

Record Tracker (7-3)

The Mammoth haven't lost two games in a row this season, and they won't tonight. Utah hasn't been playing its best hockey lately and needs to get things together against a Penguins team that isn't as talented as they are.

The Mammoth could face a big challenge from the Penguins, but Utah is bound to bounce back after the ugly performance they put on against the Wild.

The final prediction is that the Mammoth will win 4-2, as the offense looks much stronger and the defense is performing better. The Mammoth need to keep bouncing back from bad games, as they have.
