The Utah Mammoth are looking to win their second straight game tonight at the Boston Bruins.

The Bruins, who traded for JJ Peterka from the Mammoth over the offseason, have lost two straight games after a good beginning to the season.

This game stands as the fourth game of five games in a row on the road.

Who: Utah Mammoth (3-1-0) vs. Boston Bruin (2-2-0)
Where: ESPN+, Hulu, and Disney+.
When: Oct. 8, 5:00 p.m. MT

Injuries

The Bruins:

The Bruins have one major injury heading into this matchup. Charlie McAvoy is out for this game against Utah. Other than the superstar defenseman, the Bruins remain quite healthy.

The Mammoth:

Maveric Lamoureux remains injured thanks to surgery last week that will sideline him for 4-6 months.

Not much is known about Mikhail Sergachev's injury on Tuesday night. He remains day-to-day and is questionable for this game against Boston. We'll find out soon enough if he is going to be injured for an extended period of time or is returning soon to Utah.

The Prediction:

Record tracker (2-0)

My prediction is that Utah will continue to roll over the Bruins. Utah has looked strong on the power play and has totalled over 30 shots in every game thus far.

Sooner rather than later, the Bruins will bounce back. But Utah is well-rested and should be able to capitalize on Boston's recent struggles. The Bruins' offense has been pretty weak and should definitely struggle to get much going against Utah.

It will be intriguing to see whether Sebastian Cossa starts his second game or Karel Vejmelka continues his third straight. Both have done well in limited action, but seeing Cossa succeed is a really nice thing.
