The Utah Mammoth are hoping to get back into the win column tonight after taking a 6-2 loss vs the Edmonton Oilers.

Tonight, the Mammoth hosts the Pittsburgh Penguins. Here's everything you need to know:

Who: Utah Mammoth (6-3-0) vs. Pittsburgh Penguins (3-5-1)
Where: ESPN+, Hulu, and Disney+.
When: Oct. 19, 7:00 p.m. MT

What does Utah need to do to win?

The Penguins have lost three straight games, and mostly in ugly fashion. Sooner rather than later, Pittsburgh will win a game.

However, Utah is a talented team that has yet to have two in a row this season. Utah needs to get better at limiting goals in the first period. In losses, Utah has been outscored 7-0 in the first period, so a strong start will be critical for a good game.

Utah also needs to generate more offense to overpower the Penguins' weak offense. Erik Karlsson leads Pittsburgh in points with nine assists and no goals, while Evgeni Malkin leads the team in goals with five. In other words, Utah can shut down the Penguins pretty easily.

The Prediction:

Record Tracker (5-1)

The Mammoth will look much better than they did against a powerful Oilers team on Saturday.

The Penguins will end their losing streak eventually, but not tonight. The Mammoth win 5-2 with a strong performance from their goalie and their goal scorers. Again, Utah has yet to lose back-to-back games, showing its ability to bounce back after a loss.

Utah takes down Pittsburgh as it looks to win four of its last five games.
