The Utah Mammoth have played in a relatively small arena over two seasons in Salt Lake. However, new renovations have made the arena look different and hold more people for the upcoming season.
With the Mammoth on the rise, it's nice to have a good arena that can be loud during the postseason and even regular season.
New picture of the arena leaked
On October 1st, Utah opens the 2026-27 season in Salt Lake by hosting the Chicago Blackhawks. This will be the official first game in Utah's newly renovated Delta Center. They do play two more preseason games, but those are both on the road.

Before the renovation, Delta Center held around 12,500 people. That capacity was among the smallest in the NHL. With this new-looking arena, it will hold approximately 19,000 people (although there are lower estimates specifically for hockey since they share the arena with the Utah Jazz).
Delta Center will be an awesome place to play as Utah seeks to grow its fanbase and make the center one of the hardest places to play.
The Mammoth will play five consecutive road games after their opening night against Chicago.
