How will the Utah Hockey Club fare in its final month of 2024-25?
The Calgary Flames could see their lineup completely decimated at this point via trade, something they’ve been doing for a few seasons now. Los Angeles is a toss-up, even if Winnipeg isn’t. If the Kings play good hockey throughout most of the season, they will buy at the deadline and bring forth arguably their best group to Utah on April 3rd.
As for the Jets, they should once again possess some of the best defensive units in the league, and that will create mismatches for Utah. Seattle is another toss-up, but we know Nashville won’t be, and the strongest Predators team in nearly a decade could take the ice when they face Utah again.
The Dallas Stars will be cruising toward another deep playoff run at this point if they’re healthy, and by the time the final regular season game rolls around, I also wouldn’t take the St. Louis Blues lightly. St. Louis could struggle earlier in the season because of their massive roster restructure, but I would be surprised if they were still trying to figure things out come mid April.
And that’s a wrap on the Utah Hockey Club’s breakdown of their 2024-25 schedule, starting in October 2024 and ending in April 2025.
