The Utah Mammoth have continued their strong start with their third straight win.

Now, the Mammoth are 6-2-0 and sit atop of the Central Division.

Utah saw some nice performances from players to help make it's impressive win happen.

Utah defeats Edmonton in an impressive statement.

The Mammoth got off to a good start with a clean first period in which goal Karel Vejmelka didn't allow one goal.

Barrett Hayton, or "Haytes", scored his first goal of the season on the power play. The Mammoth headed into the first intermission with a 1-0 lead over the high-powered Oilers and their offense.

Then, in the second period, Logan Cooley just executed a perfect pass to Clayton Keller for his second goal of the season to give Utah a 2-0 lead. The Oilers responded just a couple of minutes later with Leon Draisaitl making it 2-1.

However, Logan Cooley continued his impressive night with his first goal of the season.

Cooley himself said that the first goal would come eventually, and he was right. It came at a critical time. Utah entered the final period up 3-1.

Shakir Mukhamadullin, just a minute and 40 seconds into the final period, scored to make it 3-2. However, Vejmelka and the Mammoth didn't break, as the Oilers struggled to do much offensively.

Eventually, Keller scored his second goal of the night with an empty-netter to seal the win. A win on the road like this is just nice to see for the Mammoth after the Oilers had done so well through six games.

Next, the Mammoth funnily hosts the Oilers on Saturday night, looking to sweep the Oilers in this mini series.
