Utah is already getting some remarkable production from some of these players

The Utah Mammoth want to see some players really break out in 2026-27. The good news is that seems to be really happening with some of these guys.

The Utah Mammoth are officially 2-1-0 after a unfortunate loss last night against the New York Rangers on the road.

However, through three games, some guys have been stepping up in certain areas. That's why Utah has outshot, outhit, and kept things at least close in every game it's played. Utah will need to bounce back come Tuesday night, but thus far it has impressed.

The stat leaders for Utah through three games

The leader in goals so far is center Nick Schmaltz. Utah was hoping to get a lot from him in 2026-27 after a 33 goal season in 2025-26. Thus far, the top line center has scored in every game, and has totalled four goals.

Schmaltz still doesn't have an assists, but no one cares if you score that many goals. Clayton Keller, meanwhile, doesn't even have one goal yet. But Keller has already compiled five assists, helping the likes of Schmaltz, Dylan Guenther, and others to score.

Utah wouldn't mind to see some goal scoring from it's captain either, but he has definitely continued to show his undeniable talent. Dylan Guenther is tied for the points leader with three goals and two assists. Guenther didn't get a point against New York, but he has continued to look good.

Thus far, Utah has seen a pretty queit Vincent Trocheck, with just one point on an assists and a queit center Barrett Hayton, who doesn't have one point yet. It will be huge to get some of those guys going. But the offensive show that some guys on the top of lines have put on has been pretty impressive.

Next, the Mammoth play their third game in a row on the road (have two more, *sigh*) looking to get back into the win column.
